Why is it said that boron nitride powder can be used in insulation materials?

Boron nitride (BN) powder can be applied in insulation materials for several reasons:

Low thermal conductivity: Boron nitride exhibits extremely low thermal conductivity. Its thermal conductivity is approximately 1/7th that of steel and 1/2nd that of silicon carbide. This property effectively inhibits heat conduction, making it a good insulation material.
